Book Drop

  • There is a book drop in front of the library, which is located on the third floor of the Akamon General Research Building.
  • It is not accessible when the Akamon General Research Building is closed, except for members of the Graduate School and the Faculty of Economics who have a building access card.
  • Materials returned to the book drop before library opening time are processed as returned on the last opening day.
  • Please do not return the materials listed below to the book drop. Instead, please return them to the circulation desk.
    • Materials from libraries outside the University of Tokyo
    • Fragile materials such as CD-ROMs and old printed books
    • Damaged materials
