The Digitized Contents Transmission Service provided by the National Diet Library of Japan (NDL) allows you to browse digital versions of out-of-print or otherwise difficult-to-obtain materials from the NDL on the dedicated PC in the Library of Economics. You can also print them within the limits permitted by the Copyright Act of Japan.
* Digitized Contents Transmission Service for Individuals is also available. You can browse or print the above contents from home. Prior user registration with the NDL is required.
Eligibility for the Service
- Members of the Graduate School and the Faculty of Economics (including Professors Emeritus of the Graduate School of Economics)
- Members of the Graduate School of Public Policy who use the Library of Economics as their “Home Library”
Service Hours
From 9:00 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. and from 12:50 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, except when the library is closed
How to Browse
Please fill out the form at the circulation desk. You can browse the materials after the library staff have logged you in.
How to Print
Please fill out the form at the circulation desk. A member of staff will print it out for you.
Please note that depending on the printing time, the printed materials may be ready the next day or later.
Printing Fees
You can receive materials once payment is complete.
* Professor, associate professor, research associate, and full-time lecturer can pay by public fund.
Fee
- Black & White: 20 yen per sheet
- Color: 60 yen per sheet
Payment
Please pay using the designated method and submit proof of payment to the Library of Economics circulation desk.
Notes
Downloading, saving, or taking out the contents as a digital file is not permitted.
