Records of Yamaichi Securities

Overview
  • Managerial materials (5,704 cases) of Yamaichi Securities which went bankrupt in November, 1997.
  • These materials were received in two donations, the first in 1998, and the second in 2004.
  • The first donation mainly consisted of materials collected and organized to compile Yamaichi’s corporate history while the second were mainly internal documents current at the time of the bankruptcy.
Usage
  • Materials in the first donation can be viewed in microfilm or DVD in the main library reading room.  For sections which have not been made into microfilm (digitalized), please contact the Shiryo-shitsu.
    *For using the microfilm, reservation is required.
  • Materials in the second donation are currently being organized and thus not made public.
